If ever there was a time when TV was even slightly self-conscious about blatantly imitating itself, that time has past. The latest evidence is Fox's "Celebrity Duets," a new and tiny mutation from the "American Idol" stem-cell line, a virulent strain of programming identifiable by its single-host, triple-judge, overproduced elimination format.
